For our Belgian Beer Café outlets in the world we are always looking for an experienced native Belgian CHEF.
Job Description : - Operate an efficient kitchen according to the Belgian Beer Café standards of food specifications and quality
- Possess a primary focus on food quality, food cost control and kitchen labor cost control
- Recruit, train, manage and motivate kitchen staff
- Being a real ambassador for the Belgian cuisine and beer culture.
Technical Skills and Required Profile : Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Culinary and/or college education with related hospitality industry and business experience.
Experience Type and Level:
- Should have a strong culinary background and have at least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Assistant Kitchen Manager, or 3 to 5 years of experience in supervisory and all aspects of the kitchen functions
- Should have operational exposure to BOH positions in large high volume operations, encompassing lunch and dinner menus
- Should have a proven track record of exemplary performance with success in meeting food cost and productivity targets
- Should have proven experience in training kitchen colleagues
- Should have experience with the typical Belgian signature dishes, the kitchen and way of working
- Should have multi-lingual solid communication skills, and professional working knowledge of the English language.
Location: This job needs to be performed on a full-time basis in the country where the Belgian Beer Café in located. (Dubai, China, Thailand, Japan…)
Salary: The remuneration package is market conform and consists of an attractive monthly salary.
